True or False: Young generations, specifically Millenials and Gen Z, are not givers.
We sometimes hear from church leaders who bemoan the fact that young people in their 20s and 30s simply don’t contribute to the church financially.
Often, our Generis experts find that younger givers DO give, and if they aren’t giving at your church it’s the problem of the local church and not the church at large. Why? Because younger givers contribute to causes that mean something to them. And if Millennials and Gen Z aren’t giving at your church, how well have you communicated the mission and cause of your church?
There are churches who have cracked the code and mobilized Millenials and Gen Z to give in significant ways to the mission of the church. There is no greater, more powerful cause in the world than that of the church—to restore lives, rebuild hope and introduce eternal peace and life to all who would believe on the name of Jesus.
We want to help you crack the code of communicating and inspiring younger givers. Generis Principal Jim Sheppard shares from the heart about casting vision to the future leaders of the church, memberS of the Millenial and Gen Z generations.
